The Bare Page Initiative
Belonging shouldn’t be something we have to search so hard to find.
Somewhere between the responsibilities we carry, the lives we’re building, and the people we’re becoming, finding genuine connection can begin to feel unexpectedly difficult. We pass each other in grocery stores, sit beside each other at playgrounds, share the same struggles, celebrate the same milestones, and navigate so many of the same chapters. And yet, sometimes, we still feel alone.
The First Hello was created to change that. An evolving community initiative by The Bare Pages rooted in a simple belief: life was never meant to be navigated alone.
We envision a place where friendships begin, families connect, and people show up for one another. Where a casual coffee becomes a lasting friendship, a dinner with strangers becomes a table full of familiar faces, parents find their village, individuals rediscover their sense of belonging, and small acts of kindness grow into something extraordinary.
Through future gatherings, community experiences, family outings, and charitable initiatives, we hope to bring people together in ways that extend far beyond a screen. Not because we have all the answers, but because we believe there’s something powerful about figuring life out together.
Connection with a purpose.
Our vision doesn’t end with bringing people together. As our community grows, so does the opportunity to make a difference beyond it. From thoughtfully assembled care packages and local outreach to future fundraisers supporting meaningful causes, we hope to build a village that not only supports its own members but extends that same kindness to others. Because a community that celebrates together grows and gives together.
We’re still at the beginning of this story, but every village begins somewhere. With one conversation, one invitation, one hello. And maybe that first hello is yours.
